Dublin, Ireland – 7th April 2025 – Northwood Technology, a leading provider of security solutions, today announced the acquisition of SecureFast, a well-established access control and mechanical hardware company. This strategic acquisition enhances Northwood Technology’s market presence by securing two new agency partnerships with global security leaders Assa Abloy and CQR. These brands complement Northwood’s existing portfolio, which includes Avigilon Alta/Unity, Acre, Paxton, CDVI, Locinox, Aiphone, Videx, Ditec, King Gates and Label.

The Access Control division at Northwood Technology will be led by Damian Gunning, who assumes the role of Business Development Manager for the Access Control division. In this capacity, Damian will provide expert consultancy and conduct site surveys to ensure customers’ projects meet compliance standards. He will also oversee the introduction and support of the Assa Escape Door System (EDS), offer design guidance, and provide training on EN179 and EN1125 standards, addressing key industry challenges in electronic locking and compliance.
